We are a confessional Lutheran congregation joyfully proclaiming Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Rooted in the theology of the Lutheran Reformation, we confess that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone—according to Scripture alone. The Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, the sole rule and norm for our faith and life.
The core of our faith and practice is the Gospel: the good news that we are justified before God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ—not by our own works, but by Christ’s perfect life, death, and resurrection. This Gospel shapes our worship, our relationships, our vocation, and our hope.
As Lutherans, we hold to the historic creeds (Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian), and we believe that the Lutheran Confessions are faithful and accurate interpretations of Scripture, which guide our doctrine, preaching, and ministry.
We are a member congregation of the LCMC - Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (Augustana District), which is an association of Lutheran congregations that upholds the authority of Scripture and the call to make disciples of all nations. We are committed to the historic Christian faith, the mission of proclaiming Christ crucified, and the freedom and responsibility of each local congregation to live out that mission faithfully in its own context.
